Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. Plenty of options. They now have brown rice and wheat tortillas too for those of you wanting healthier options. My favorite thing to get is a burrito. Service is quick and you never have to wait too long. Try the chips and queso. For a different entree get the Mexican Gumbo. Hits the spot every time.

This is like the Subway of Tex Mex. Not a whole lot of options, but the food is A-OK. I generally go with they nachos, but I steer clear of the pork as its not very flavorful. Its fairly inexpensive and great if you're in a hurry.

It was our first time here. The food was excellent. I am very picky about queso; theirs was fantastic. The pork could use a bit more flavor, but it was still nice and tender. Overall a good experience.

When you decide to move out to the 'burbs, you have to make some sacrifices. In our case, we got a dream house in our price range, but not without sacrifices. What I got in square footage and more safety and easier entertaining, I lost in locally-owned, uber-friendly, non-chain restaurants, bistros, et al. You give up being within a stone's throw of your favorite, quaint, little locally owned {insert ethnic cuisine type here} joint. You give up knowing (by face and by first name) the owners and their kids. You give up being able to walk to places that make you feel connected to the vibrant, growing, evolving part of the city. Instead, you get places like Qdoba. I don't dislike it, don't get me wrong. That's why I am giving it a 3. But come here on a Friday night, and you get stressed parents, bringing their kids into eat at a place that prepares Mexican-ish food to their exact(ing) specifications, because they ran out of time to go to the store and cook, or they're on their way home from tee ball and know the kids won't make it until the Hamburger Helper is ready. Personally, when I end up here, I feel defeated, like my to do list and my hunger conspired to get the best of me. It's not great and it's not bad. It's just fine. It's just one of those quiet little places, in the menacing shadow of Hobby Lobby and Chick-Fil-A that reminds you, quietly, that if you've landed here for dinner, there was a point (and you can probably point to it on your calendar) where your day took you out behind the field house and beat you up. But the queso's pretty good, and the chips have just enough salt, and you got to choose exactly what went into your quesadilla. Then the serotonin gets released, and (1,500 calories and 30 fat grams later) suddenly you're feeling okay.

This Qdoba always has fast service and a clean cafe. We love taco Mondays where tacos are $1.29!

Pretty good food but it is expensive. $22.00 for two people is expensive. We ordered nachos and a burrito.....$22.00 sheesh

It's pretty good. Not a whole lot of selection but it really is just fast food Mexican a notch up from the more terrible places like Taco -insert Bell, Mayo, or Bueno-. The service is like any other normal fast food joint -enough talking to convey that both you and the employee know what you are getting and a smile here and there, and then you're out the door. I really like their nachos. I get mine with ground beef, corn salsa, cheese (of the shredded variety alone with the obvious melted cheese), cilantro, and sour cream.

Part of me hates myself for going to this franchise Mexican restaurant when I know there are millions of more authentic places I should be going. But when you're with a big group of people, going to a random local place isn't going to be the most popular option. Such was the case here. But I have to be honest, I really like Qdoba! They food is great, I love their chips and queso, and the service is wonderful!

When you gotta eat, you gotta eat. After church service and an hour at Jo-Ann's, my husband, one year old and I needed some grub...and pronto. While Qdoba is not authentic Mexican, it does hit the spot. This place was very clean with a very warm staff. Even with a long line, we didn't feel rushed or like we were annoying anyone. As much as I loves me a good Chipotle burrito, you can't top the fact that Qdoba includes guacamole and queso into their price. Who the heck wants to pay $1-$2 extra? Ain't nobody got time for that. I also love getting points on my card that lead to free meals. All in all, it was a very clean restaurant. Their kids menu wasn't bad either.

Love this place. The staff is super friendly and they are always fast and efficient at their job. You never have to worry about the line being long because they get their orders done right then first time and in a quick and timely manner.

Great location at NW Expressway and Rockwell. Plenty of parking in the back. I ordered a taco salad for myself and 3 soft tacos for my son. Even with 10 people ahead of us, the employees did a great job of expediting everyone's orders. I had grilled chicken, white rice, lettuce, tomatoes, queso, salsa and taco shell on the salad. On the soft taco, we got a simple round of grilled chicken, lettuce and salsa. Great portions and everything looked and tasted fresh. I would highly recommend this location. I took a star off everyone in line was getting attacked by flies.

I liked Qdoba before. Now I love it (well as much as I can love a fast-ish food joint). Why do I love it? Well since you asked... 1. Guacamole is now included in the price 2. Queso is now included in the price 3. Everything extra (other than additional meat I think) is included in the price 4. Even with the additional ingredients that we love, Qdoba is still cheaper than Chipotle (where they will nickel and dime you until your food is $1.50 - $2.00 more than when you started) Qdoba (greater than symbol) Chipotle That's right, I said it. Come at me, Chipotle fanatics. Also, the service at this one is amazing. We showed up recently and ordered a couple burrito bowls, only to discover that one of the requested ingredients had run out. They apologized, made us our food and we got to eating. The chicken (along with the queso, guacamole, and other fixin's) was so delicious that we didn't feel like we were missing anything. Then one of the employees came by with what we had requested earlier. Freshly made. Just for us. You do you, Qdoba. 'Cause all of me loves all of you. I'm quoting John Legend so you best believe I have strong feelings about you.

This place is close to work, so we used to come here at least every other week. The Qdoba Rewards Card got me a few free burritos each year, which was nice. The food is fine, though hardly life-changing, but what else would you really expect? When Qdoba announced it was giving everyone free guacamole, I did not realize it would result in higher prices. I hate guacamole, and resent being charged more so other people can have it for free. I would think offering me some free queso instead would be fair. Nope. Not happening. Then the adobo barbecue sauce disappeared. Now I can't even get my favorite nutritional holocaust burrito anymore, at any price. Seriously Qdoba, you're dead to me now.

I don't usually review chain restaurants but since we don't have a Qdoba in Houston, TX here it goes...! Just your typical burrito place like Chipotle, Mission Burrito, Free Birds, Bullritos, etc.Sevice was fast and friendly and the whole place seemed very clean, which I can appreciate :)

I've got to say Qdoba is one of my favorite quick, "fast food"-esque restaurants. Great chips and queso (I think they add lime juice to the chips which adds the perfect tang with the salt), and of course the burritos are awesome as well. I'm glad they've recently added whole wheat tortillas and brown rice for a little bit of a healthier option (as healthy as a burrito the size of your face can be, that is). My usual is the queso burrito with chicken or pulled pork, but I've recently tried the mango salsa and it is fantastic. I wish it wasn't just a seasonal item. It's the perfect ratio of sweet to spicy, especially if you add some more salsa in there. Qdoba is quick, convenient and offers some pretty tasty options! One of my go-to places for a quick dinner.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
